♟️ Exciting News from 3rd Class! ♟️
Today marks the start of a 4-week chess workshop with Oisín Flynn and Tomás Fitzpatrick from ChessIrelandAcademy! Over the past eight weeks they have had the pleasure of delivering chess workshops to over 400 children across nine schools in the Limerick area and now they are expanding into Kerry! 🌟
Tomás and Oisín are international chess players and have proudly represented Mary Immaculate College abroad twice. They are passionate about bringing chess into the classroom in a fun, interactive and educational way.
Chess isn’t just a game, it helps improve concentration, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The workshops welcome all levels, from complete beginners to experienced players and are tailored to fit any age or class.
3rd Class are looking forward to a great few weeks of learning and fun! 🏆♟️
