Last Friday, our 5th class footballers took part in the annual Garda Football Blitz in Austin Stack Park. Before the games began, a minute’s silence was observed in memory of our past pupil, Luke Silles. It was a touching tribute, carried out with great respect by all students present.
The team played four matches, gave it their best effort, and showed great determination throughout. They never gave up and represented the school so well.
A big thank you to the organisers for a really enjoyable day in such a brilliant venue.
