Thankfully the borders were open and the Junior Infants took a much needed break after Christmas to Africa. Here we visited the African Markets in Role Play. We learned that the crafts are handmade and learned lots of new fruit names. We made jewellery in the art station to sell at the market. We learned about the African Animals and completed some report writing on our favourite African Animal. All the children are looking forward to going back to Africa again some day.
