Thanks so much to Brenda White from the civil defense for calling to our school and speaking to the Junior and Senior Infants as well as the Arabella Class.
The classes have been learning about the emergency services in Aistear.
Brenda taught us what to do if we burn ourselves, not to take any tablets that we find only the ones given to us by a grown up that we know, we must not take anyone's inhaler, how to call for an ambulance and to make sure we open the door for the ambulance and lock up any pets that might be running around in the event of an emergency, we also learned a lot about allergies and the most important thing of all to remain calm!!
Brenda then took us on a tour of the ambulance.
