5th class pupils were asked to design and make a fun game or lifting device with a lever. We began by doing some preparatory activities;
A. In pairs, pupils were given a ruler, a pencil and a packet of colouring pencils. They were asked to find a way of lifting the packet of pencil crayons using only one finger. Some groups created seesaws and others thought of creative, alternative methods!
B. We made some crafts such as The Waving Hand & The Snapping Crocodile.
C. In groups, pupils planned and created their games. Here are the results!
