This week we were learning about the Winter Olympics taking place in Beijing. On Thursday we constructed skiers from tinfoil and designed skis using lollipop sticks. The boys and girls explored different ways to shape their skier and positions of balance to create the optimal skier. They then tested their creations by skiing down a wooden slope in our own mini olympics!
